Terms of service

What we do, what you look after, and what happens if the day does not go the way anybody planned.

Draft document. These are plain-English starting terms, written so the page is honest rather than empty. They are not legal advice and they have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Booths & Such Rentals is supplying its own wording, which will replace this page. Where these terms and a written quote or booking confirmation disagree, the written quote or confirmation is the one that counts.

Who these terms are between

They are between Booths & Such Rentals, a photo booth rental business serving Orlando & Central Florida in Florida, USA, and the person or organization hiring a booth. On this page that is "we" and "you".

Quotes are estimates until we confirm

A price we give you before a booking is an estimate based on what you told us: the date, the venue, the hours and the booth. If any of those change, the price can change with them. Nothing is reserved by asking for a quote, and a date stays available to everyone until it is booked.

A booking is confirmed in writing

Your date is held once we have confirmed it to you in writing, by email or by message, and you have met whatever booking terms that confirmation sets out. A conversation on the phone is a good sign, not a booking. If you have not got something in writing, ask us for it.

Changes and cancellations

Tell us as early as you can. Dates, times and booth choices can often be moved if we know in advance. The specific deposit, change and cancellation terms for your event are the ones set out in your written quote or booking confirmation.

What we bring and what we do

We deliver, set up, run and collect the equipment you booked. Local delivery, setup and pickup are included in the price. Out of town deliveries carry a small additional fee, which we tell you about when we quote rather than after the event. The what's included page describes this in more detail, and the booths we rent are compared there side by side.

What you are responsible for

Five things, and none of them are difficult. They are the things we cannot arrange from our end.

  • Access. Getting us into the venue at the agreed time, with a usable route for a wheeled case, and out again at the end.
  • Power. A working standard outlet within reach of where the booth will stand, available for the whole hire.
  • Surface and space. A firm, level area of the size that booth needs. Outdoors, that also means cover from rain and direct sun, and somewhere the equipment can be anchored safely.
  • Permission. Clearing the booking with the venue, including anything the venue requires from a supplier before we arrive.
  • Your guests. Keeping an eye on how the equipment is treated during your event.

If we arrive and cannot set up because access, power or the surface is not what we agreed, we will do what we reasonably can to make it work. Where it cannot be made to work, that is not something we can refund our way out of, and the terms in your booking confirmation apply.

Damage and loss

Normal wear from a party is expected and is our problem, not yours. Loss of equipment, or damage beyond that, caused during your event is chargeable to you at the cost of repair or replacement. We will tell you promptly and show you what the charge is for. The quickest way to avoid the conversation entirely is to make sure the booth is somewhere sensible and that drinks are not being set down on it.

Safety and our right to stop

We can pause or end a hire if continuing would be unsafe for our team, your guests or the equipment. We will only do that for a real reason and we will talk to you first wherever there is time to.

Photos, videos and prints

What your guests capture in the booth belongs to the people in it. Anything we want to use to show what we do, we ask about first.

Weather and events outside anyone's control

Storms, power cuts, road closures and similar events happen in Florida and are nobody's fault. If one of them stops an event, we will work with you on moving the date rather than pretending the problem is yours alone.

Liability

We take responsibility for our own work and our own equipment. We are not responsible for the rest of your event, for the venue, or for other suppliers. The limits that apply to your specific hire are the ones in your written booking confirmation.

Where these terms apply

We operate in Florida, USA, and these terms are written on that basis. The final version supplied by the client will say more about this.

Ask a person

Ask before you book, not after

If something on this page matters to your event, raise it while we are still quoting. Call 407-457-0519, email rental@boothsandsuch.com, or send the question through the quote form.
